I built your cupboards out of my bones / shoveled your snow with an ice cream cone

Two sun-shiny days in a row here in the mitten state. Things are looking up!

I am getting progressively more SUPER excited about my trip to Jersey/New York City. But in more immediate news, I an SUPER excited to see Alice In Wonderland (and to party in its honor) tomorrow night. Check out these series of interviews of Johnny Depp and Tim Burton on Jonathon Ross. I've never seen either of these guys give an interview before (I'm probably just not up on the game) but this was so interesting to watch! I'll post the first vid here:

It was so cool to hear insight to their work relationship and into both their lives!

Check out some sweet Tarot cards from the Super Punch Blog. via boingboing.

That's all for today, guys. Have a good one!

She's gotta be strong to fight them so she's taking lots of vitamins

Hulloooo!

Late post - what's up? It's NIGHTTIME!

First up, my friend Eric REALLY wants some of these...

The Lego Architecture Series presents:

Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater!

Or you could get a replica of the Guggenheim!

Or, the Sears Tower! (Sorry guys, I refuse to call it the Hancock Center.)

Ok, next up, LOOK AT ALL THIS BABY FOODZ! And by "baby" I mean small. TINY! That thurr link has tons of photos, but I'll post my favorite / most enticing here. Kim Burke's work is awesome!

Great, now I'm hungry.

Moving along in the "food" vein, apparently Kit-Kats are quite popular among the Japanese - so much so that there are different varieties: "Some of the more curious flavors include soy sauce, grilled potato, and sports drink." I personally am not that big a fan, but I do enjoy the crunchy treat from time to time. via boingboing. Check out the "kit-kats of the world" flickr set!

Oh, the novelty.

Well, that was quite a lot, so I think I'll end it here.

Goodniiiggghhhtttt!

Once you go rainbow, you'll hear colors.

Ok!

Don't remember where I found this... but it's awesome.

I wouldn't mind having some literally 3D wallpaper in my room. Nope, not at all.

Next, we got some stuff via apartment therapy.

Objects Subjected by Michael Johansson. Interesting idea, though I'm pretty sure my mom has been doing this in our tiny kitchen for years.

Next, bitchin' wallpaper from The Wallpaper Collective. Yowza

Pretty awesome, right?

BAHAHAHA... love this:

Care Bears made of rice, carrots, and hot dogs (via boing boing)

Wow. Life is...interesting.

Alright, here's what's up for today...

I'll just reblog this post from desire to inspire. Each space is uniquely interesting and frankly, I'm tired.

Next up is the siiiccckkk photography of Bruno Dayan. Just a warning, the beginning of his portfolio site is definitely NSFW. But these photos are mind-blowing

Ummm..... whaaaaat? via love obsess inspire.

Oh, and this thing via boingboing pretty much freaked my shit.

Later, ya'll!

You're too cool for me, dude

Hello all!

Today is a weird day, yeah? Here's to hoping something wonderful comes along... there are possibilities, methinks.

First up, check out this video from Malcolm Sutherland. He makes some seriously cool videos. Found via OK Great. I don't quite get it, but I definitely enjoyed it. I wonder where the music came from and how they got it to sync so well with the animation...

These extraordinary bird photos have had me fascinated for at least half an hour. Andrew Zuckerman, you are the bomb-dizzle. Via swissmiss.

I love infographics. And hilarious flow charts. And there have been a surplus of them lately, one of my favorites being:

Hollaaaaaaa!

Living a fairy tale

I'm sure not, but I bet there are people who think they are.

Anyway, I happened to run across some things that all fell in to a theme for today (much like yesterday.) Here goes...

First up is something I've been saving for weeks.

Vogue Alice in Wonderland featured over on A Cup of Jo. View the full slideshow here.

Soooooooo cool!

Next up, via Boingboing, is Sleeping Beauty cosplayers at Dragon*Con 2009.

Check out the flickr photostream for more photos of other zany cosplayers - there are some really impressive ones, including X-Men and Daria.

Next, also via Boingboing, is a collection of nude Alice in Wonderland illustrations. I haven't had an opportunity to see these, so your guess is as good as mine as to how raunchy they are.

Have a good weekend!
