You don't have to put on the red light

Hello all!

It's not a blizzardy hell-hole outside today, which I am appreciating very much. Hooray for not being blasted in the eyeball with pointy ice crystals!

Check out this awesome Steampunk collection. Some of these really freak me out.

Wow - such cool stuff. Here, I'll even RE-LINK you so you go check it out! Reminds me a lot of Nightmare Before Christmas - which ALWAYS freaks me out. Thank goodness for Sally and her sad songs and good intentions, or everything would have been ruined.

Next, check out this hilarious Shark infographic.

SHARK TORPEDO - WATCH OUT!

That's all for day, kids. Have a good weekend!

You're too cool for me, dude

Hello all!

Today is a weird day, yeah? Here's to hoping something wonderful comes along... there are possibilities, methinks.

First up, check out this video from Malcolm Sutherland. He makes some seriously cool videos. Found via OK Great. I don't quite get it, but I definitely enjoyed it. I wonder where the music came from and how they got it to sync so well with the animation...

These extraordinary bird photos have had me fascinated for at least half an hour. Andrew Zuckerman, you are the bomb-dizzle. Via swissmiss.

I love infographics. And hilarious flow charts. And there have been a surplus of them lately, one of my favorites being:

Hollaaaaaaa!

Mish-mosh

Apologies for not posting yesterday (mostly to myself... nobody else reads this currently.) Yesterday was a not-so-good day, but I did save a few things to post today.

The first thing is the art of Linnea Strid.

Check out the link on her name for more of her oil paintings. I am beyond impressed. Holy cow.

And for you indie kids out there, now you have a way to occupy your time between being ironic and squeezing into your pants.
The Indie Rock Coloring Book includes Andrew Bird, Bon Iver, The Shins, and more!

This video combines my love for infographics and fairy tales! WINNER!

Have a good weekend, whoever you are! (My weekends typically start on Thursdays. Isn't that nice?)
