Love that quote. Story of my [your] life.
Umm.... let's see, here.
First up is this cool typographic activity thing I've been seeing around the blogosphere, Bokeh Type. This entertained me for quite a while yesterday. (via designworklife)
Next is this photo. Not sure where it came from, but there's something about that guy that intrigues me to no end. He looks a little young, but I still wanna know him. Even if that makes me a cougar. (I'm more like a cougar cub.)
It wasn't until after uploading the image that I got the "Dorian Gray" reference. Shows how easily distracted I am when it comes to pretty boys in top hats.
Next is Beardfolio, which made me happy in unexpected ways. I admire these men and their commitment to excessive facial hair.
Now check out some sick typography from typegoodness.
That's all, y'all! Have a good weekend!

I didn't get the Dorian Gray reference initially, either. I loved that book, by the way; I can't remember who, but I know one of my friends hated it. *Shrugs.*
ReplyDeleteAnd Beardfolio is the greatest thing to happen to me today. I have a younger cousin who attends art college in Memphis, and nearly all of her portraits involve fantastic facial hair, monocles, and top hats. She even owns a "book of beards" for inspiration. I sent her the link immediately. (I should really show you some of her artwork sometime; it will blow your mind.)
Also, you should blog about Mandala Sand Painting. Google it.
